When working with or near electricity, electric shocks are a present danger, even for trained professionals. These occur when a current passes through the human body. They cause injuries ranging from mild tissue and nervous system damage to major external and internal burns. In worst-case scenario, they cause electrocution, which is fatal.?
First Aid is defined as the emergency treatment given to the ill or injured before more experienced medical personnel arrive.
This e-learning modules is the thirteenth in a series of 13 modules. The modules are intended to refresh and reinforce the knowledge gained during the mandatory class room course on Elementary First Aid.
