Lifting operation, Safe use of conventional cranes

This course concentrates on the operation and maintenance of service cranes used for the routine working of the ship, such as deck, provisions and engine-room cranes. It does not cover larger cranes and derricks designed for the loading and discharge of cargo, such as might be found on a general cargo ship or heavy-lift vessel.
