Boiler fuel oil system

There have been a number of accidents and fatalities due to boiler furnace explosions caused by problems in the boiler fuel oil system. It is therefore vital that operators know how their boiler fuel system operates.

This title will describe boiler fuel oil supply systems, burner types, and the correct sequence of operations when a boiler burner is started.
