Preparation for loading bulk carriers

This course covers the preparations required before a ship loads dry bulk cargoes: Hold cleaning, hatch cover operation and maintenance, and the various surveys and pre-loading activities. This will be particularly useful for deck officers who have not previously sailed on dedicated bulk carriers.

On completion of this course you will receive a Verification of Training from Ocean Technologies Group powered by Marlins, Seagull and Videotel.
