Safety data sheets

62,00

Hundreds of different chemicals are used and stored on board vessels, many of which pose the risk of being poisonous, explosive or a source of marine pollution.

Though busy seafarers cannot know the hazards of every substance stored on board, the use of the wrong chemical at the wrong time could result in damage to the ship and the marine environment, or even the loss of life.

Seafarers learn how to use the system to identify hazards, handle and stow chemicals safely, and carry out the important first aid measures required after exposure to a hazardous substance.

On completion of this course you will receive a Verification of Training from Ocean Technologies Group powered by Marlins, Seagull and Videotel.
