This module deals with the shipboard organization, the formal and informal structures, personal and professional relationships, and human limitations. The significant impacts of human factors in the error chain are emphasized, with the end view of improving safety consciousness among seafarers. It also covers the role of shipboard training in addressing competence gap issues, and the ways to tap personal abilities to improve the team’s performance. This e-learning module does not include audio or animations. It is an interactive e-book with drag and drop exercises.
