Management of enclosed spaces

This title will ensure that enclosed spaces, and enclosed space entries, are managed in accordance with the requirements of ISGOTT.

Although primarily addressing tanker operators using ISGOTT 6, many of the enclosed space guidelines in ISGOTT will come to be seen as ‘best practice’ for generic application.

On completion of this course you will receive a Verification of Training from Ocean Technologies Group powered by Marlins, Seagull and Videotel.

Learning objectives:

• Ensure that all enclosed spaces onboard ship are marked as such
• Control access to enclosed spaces at all times
• Ensure that entry to enclosed spaces is only made when absolutely necessary
• Be aware of the additional guidelines for enclosed spaces in ISGOTT which are not currently included in SOLAS
