The course develops a clear understanding of the principles involved in keeping the cargo at an acceptable pressure, including the cause and remedy for common problems found in service. This course will provide the introduction to this module, for anyone not familiar with Gas Carriers.

• Understand how to use a pressure enthalpy diagram and the information that can be obtained from it
• Identify the main features of a single stage and cascade type cargo liquefaction plant
