Medical Care

Medical care is highly important on board, that is why every seafarer needs to have knowledge of certain examination and procedural methods. This course looks at injuries, wound healing and infection, pain relief, minor surgical treatment and much more.

The main aim of this course is to highlight the underpinning knowledge for situations such as providing medical care to the sick and injured while they remain on board. It also focuses on how to participate in coordinated schemes for medical assistance.

On completion of this course you will receive a Verification of Training from Ocean Technologies Group powered by Marlins, Seagull and Videotel.
