Security Awareness Training Course (MCA, NMA)

This course provides a general introduction to maritime security and explores the security issues and threats that may be present when a ship is in port, at anchor or at sea. The purpose of the course is to give personnel onboard ship without a designated security duty the requisite knowledge needed to meet the requirements of Chapter VI of the STCW Convention and Code 1978, as amended by the 2010 Manila amendments.

By the completion of the course you receice a Verification Of Training (VOT)

The course can be completed Onboard only to aquire the Certificate of Completion from Ocean Technologies Group powered by Marlins, Seagull and Videotel. (*Please contact us to inform you about the additional cost of certification and procedures*)
